Leach Camper Sales of Lincoln
Marketing Audit, Advertising Strategy, Campaign Design, Brand Refresh
Challenge
Leach Camper Sales of Lincoln is the largest RV dealer in the midwest, with 11 acres of RVs at their dealership at 27th and Cornhusker. They had been handling all of their marketing efforts in-house but came to us to help solidify their message and create a campaign to move forward. After many discussions, industry research, and a marketing audit, we created a campaign that unified their messaging and marketing efforts. We also got busy refreshing their logo, updating their brand standards, and creating a consistent design for their many business cards.
Strategy
Our team started with the question: “Why does someone buy a camper or RV?” and came up with the most straightforward answer: “They want to camp better.” We wrote tongue-in-cheek headlines around the “Camp Better” theme and matched them with photos of people and places they might travel. We developed a messaging guide and media plan to implement in print ads, broadcast, radio, and social media. We designed full and half-page ads, billboards, window graphics, cover graphics for Facebook and Twitter, and images for posts on Instagram.
We extended the campaign to the sparsely branded Leach property. We recognized areas on the Leach property they could brand, such as their many garage doors, some of which face 27th street, basically on-site billboards. We also created signage they could use in the dealership and at trade-shows.
