Branding & Ad Campaign

Create a brand and campaign to promote Northwest Nebraska. Northwest Nebraska, is host to State Parks, a National Forest, and the fantastic “lunar landscape” of Toadstool Geologic Park. It’s an outdoor playground for anyone looking to go camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, biking, or just experience the outdoors.

The Dawes County Travel Board is a group of volunteers who encourage the use of travel and tourism facilities within Dawes and Sioux Counties.

With a focus on the landscape, activities, and open spaces, we created a brand inspired by the WPA travel posters of the 1930s, and the Discover Northwest Nebraska, word-mark invites explorers to find something new.

Our Media Plan used digital ads, print ads, the DiscoverNWNebraska.com website (since redesigned), and posters to reach the nearly one million people in Omaha, Lincoln, and the Front Range of Colorado, who are interested in outdoor recreation. To further help those hoping to explore the area, we also created a tear-off map of the Pine Ridge area and a 48-page trail guide with the most popular hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails in the area.
